I’d like to think that my self-imposed hiatus or escape from this ridiculous exercise in writing has been based on heat. As it really is, it’s two parts summer laziness, one part heat and at least a bit of non-inspiration on my part.

Since August is one of my most hated months I fully expect some sort of rage-based blithering on my part in the next four weeks, same as it ever was. At least, I hope. All three of you that read this have surely found other things to consume your time other than reading me here, but for the sake of practice I’d like to think I can come back up to a half-dozen hunks of blithering next month.

Cross my fingers, at least. Hope to die.
